Guidelines for Use of Curriculum Continuums
The purpose of the continuums is to provide teachers with an understanding of progressions of learning. The development of curriculum continuums has been important to ensure a ‘Pathway” of learning is consistently implemented in all schools in Tamaki. The continuums can be used to support assessment and planning. The continuums do not break down key concepts into learning intentions and success criteria. Rather they provide a framework for teachers to develop learning intentions and success criteria with students.
